LTI is a Japanese owned and operated company based in Tokyo. We provide water treatment solutions for many industries and applications.
LTIWET is our innovative technology that changes the structure of water giving it its special properties. LTIWET can change ionized minerals like Ca, Mg and Si into tiny soft colloids.
LTIWET units are made originally in Japan and now it is made in some countries under the license agreement with us, and the units of course include imported LTI ceramic beads from Japan.
The units change the structure of water making it softer reducing the surface tension. Hard water contains heavy minerals and our product isolates these minerals so that they are no longer harmful to us or our animals and plants.
The units change the structure of water making it softer reducing the surface tension. Hard water contains heavy minerals and our product isolates these minerals so that they are no longer harmful to us or our animals and plants.
LTIWET requires constant agitation of specially designed ceramic beads in a tube or chamber. The moving beads create friction that generates heat at the point of contact. The temperature difference between the beads surface and the water causes a thermoelectric current where electron transfer occurs. As a result of it, the treated water can be positively charges so that it can deliver many significant effects including antioxidant and antimicrobial effects.
The action positively charges water changing the water’s molecular structure releasing the water’s hydrogen atoms.
Alteration of the water molecules provides many benefits including reduced surface tension.
Also, the treated water which is positively charged can make a "membrane "which surrounds the tiny soft colloids which can be made from ionized minerals so that such colloids do not forma hard scale or slime since each colloid cannot attract each other due to the effect that each colloid is surrounded by " a positively charged water membrane ".
Yes, Our technology can lower electric potential of iron and change Fe2O3 (ferric oxide) into Fe3O4 (Magnetite) so that it can prevent or restrain the rusting or corrosion. Also, zinc or copper in the piping can be coated by cationized water so that the pipe corrosion can be prevented.
Yes completely. LTIWET uses no chemicals and no expensive and wasteful filters to operate. The flow of water through the unit is all that is needed to soften the water.
No. LTIWET units can be added to all different water sources. The only requirement is water flow as the water velocity is what activates the ceramic beads. LTIWET can be used with other water enhancement technologies including water filtration systems and reverse osmosis however it operates as a standalone unit.
No. No backwash and no discharge of water.
It can treat almost all type of water irrespective of its water source including river, well, city water, lake or sea water. However, it needs to be clear water (not perfectly transparent since LTIWET can address some range of turbidity issue effectively) Water containing mud or some solid impurities with strong turbidity need to be filtered before LTIWET.
The units are installed at the water mains that service your property. To get the best out of the system you want all water entering your property to be treated. The units must be installed pright with the water entering the base of the unit and leaving the top of the unit.
No. LTIWET units operate completely on the water flow through the unit.
The beads have been used in commercial applications around the world and have been in constant use for over 10 years in Japan and the US The shell life of the beads can be the degree of the water quality, however, three to five years should be assured in any case. The beads and the units are made to last and should not need to be replaced for long time.
No problem. Attaching a unit to a swimming pool will provide amazing soft water to swim in. You will notice the difference immediately as the pool water is circulated through the unit. To get the best results a separate unit would need to be installed alongside the swimming pool pump.
No. The unit must be installed by a registered plumber for the warranty to be valid.
There are many benefits which are broken down by use:
Swimming pools and spas
Household water
LTIWET units do not use filters. The beads are durable and will not need to be replaced. The casing is made from stainless steel and is built to last above or below the soil. Once the unit is installed it will not require ongoing maintenance.
